3 UI/UX Design Tips You Don't Wanna Miss Out!

Are you complete beginner and just starting familiarise yourself with all those design techniques, tactics and basic rules to make your projects nicely looking?

Today I want to bring you some fresh and memorable examples of what you should always look out for to not make any more mistakes!

1. Be Clear

And I mean super clear and obvious about what you are trying to say. People can often get confused when they visit numerous websites and they see these modern slangs, crazy signs and rainbow colours on top of it. You don't want to be like them, right? It does not scream originality and trend, it is more like being lost in jungle.

For instance when you're creating buttons, label them correctly, use bold and big letters for everyone to see and understand the action behind it.

2. Be Organised

This breaks my heart to say that in 2022 I still witnessed couple of websites and apps, that were either having very confusing menu or it was missing completely! How terrible is that for a consumer, who cannot view all products you are about to offer. Menu is more important than fancy pictures and great looking logo, as it allows viewer to find information he is looking for.

However, it is important to mention that you should also have some system while creating your app by putting content in order. For instance, if you're selling a product, image is a must and should be positioned on top of any text and information. Illustrate your points with graphics or videos to make your app/website even more accessible.

3. Be Creative

... But in a way that it does not hurt anyone's eyes. View latest trends and make them personal by adding features you are known for. This is not copying, this is creating new from something that exists.

Feel free to create from scratch, but be aware of how design world works and how consumers are used to interact with existing apps. For instance: avoid putting footer on the top and menu on the bottom.

Create special and bold colour scheme for the project, that would fit perfectly and give it its own memorable personality. Best way to find the balance between craziness and boredom, is to add little bit of both worlds. You don't have to put all latest trends into your new app, create standard, simple version and then add one trend you fancy. If you like some decorative typography, feel free to use it, but maybe only for the main heading.

Practise and exercise are the only ways to improve at our work. The more time we put into something, the better we begin to be over time.
